Lyocell is a semi-synthetic fiber commonly used as a substitute for cotton or silk. A form of rayon, hence the synthetic part, but it it made from primarily cellulose derived from wood! This Lyocell has a short staple length of about an inch so would be a great additive to some fun art yarn, batts, or rolags.
